Ruijia Zhang graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Photo and Video Journalism major. She was born in Harbin, China, studied in the U.S (two year at Penn State University, two years at UNC-Chapel Hill) and currently lives in Shanghai.

Within 3 years after graduation, she worked as a producer and editor at Yitiao tv, one of China’s most influential short film company, and succeedingly bilibili, China’s Youtube doing international co-productions with BBC World, Lion TV, Urban Canyons, etc.

She’s now a freelancing producer and photographer in China, resourceful in international production field.
